Thomas B – Guitar Instructor

Thomas is an experienced and passionate guitarist, instructor, singer-songwriter, and top session player in Orange County, California.  Born in Fullerton, he picked up the guitar at age 15, where he began to construct what would become a vast catalogue of rock and pop songs. He displayed his natural musicianship as he quickly picked up on the riffs and songs of guitar legends such as Jimmy Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Jimmy Page. Tom graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a BA in Radio-Television-Film and earned his AA in Jazz Studies at Fullerton College. He performed at the Fullerton College Jazz Festival and Steamer’s Café in Fullerton. After graduating from Cal State Fullerton, Tom met Alice Wallace, a talented country, blues and folk singer-songwriter. He became Wallace’s lead guitarist and developed his own interpretation of Country and Folk Music. Tom performed with Wallace at the Disneyland Hotel for the Indie Music Awards, The Coach House for the Orange County Music Awards, the House of Blues of Anaheim, The Hotel Café in Los Angeles, and opened for big acts such as Al Stewart, Javier Colon, Sophie B Hawkins, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and Wynonna Judd. Tom has recorded three albums with Wallace and has toured along the West Coast, Oregon, San Francisco, and performed in The South By Southwest Festival in Austin. In October of 2015, Tom and Wallace appeared on the KCal9 CBS morning show promoting Wallace’s third album, Memories Music and Pride, under California Country Records. In early 2016, Tom, Wallace, and band released their official music video, Just Don’t Care Anymore, and broke the top 100 Americana Music charts. In addition, Tom is currently the lead guitarist for several acts in Orange County and Los Angeles such as David Rosales, Blontourage, and The Hawkline Monster. You can catch Tom performing with these acts at different venues in Orange County and Los Angeles.

Olga is Russian born and educated from Moscow State Pedagogical University and Ippolitov-Ivanov Music College. During 8 years of her education, she has complete four major programs of study: piano performance, vocal performance, choir conducting and musicology. She has been teaching children piano and music theory over 20 years, (including 10 years in Orange County). Olga`s individual teaching program for each child will be developed according to each student’s individual goals and needs in order to develop musicianship, artistry and other talents. Her teaching methods are individually-focused. They are designed to allow students to discover their musicality through gentle guidance from the teacher. She is familiar with most popular piano methods (including the Russian method), so she selects for each student the best piano method according to age and individuality.

Amanda has been a musician for as long as she can remember. Starting at the age of four, she learned piano and strive to compete musically with her older siblings. As she continued in school, Amanda learned many other instruments, including (but not limited to) the trumpet, clarinet, saxophone, trombone, bassoon, baritone, and the guitar. She has been educating children in music since high school and had been essential Catholic churches in Michigan as a piano accompanist for masses, funerals, and weddings. Amanda currently is employed at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA with exemplifies her talents with working with children. She plans to continue her journey in California by pursuing a degree in music composition and teaching.

Patrick is an accomplished singer and guitarist with hundreds of concerts performed and dozens of diverse recording projects completed. He got his start at the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, training classically under the same vocal instructor as Boyz II Men, Jazmine Sullivan, and Bilal. In college, Patrick gained success as a hip-hop instrumentalist, earning a Gold Record and opening for such acts as The Roots, Tom Morello, and Soulive. On his own, Patrick writes, records, and produces his own rock and folk music, immersing himself in innovative recording techniques and audio technology. As a teacher, he encourages all students to develop their own style, and helps them grow into unique artists.

Taylor has been studying classical guitar performance at Chapman University and is proud to announce he just graduated in December 2016. At Chapman, He studied with Jeff Cogan—the Director of Guitar Studies and Music Technology and Eric Henderson—protégé of the great Andres Segovia. He loves to jam on his electric guitar and is known for his kind and patient interactions with students. Taylor loves teaching students of all ages, from beginner to advanced. He teaches pop songs, notation, classical style, blues, jazz, and rock. He strives to cater lessons to each individual learning style.

Ramtin began his musical journey at the age of 15 and instantly fell in love with heavy metal bands, such as Metallica, Judas Priest, Megadeath, lamb of god, and Slipknot. He started taking music lessons from most praised guitar instructors of his hometown. Because of his enthusiasm for music, he began learning guitar fundamentally and equipped himself with the knowledge of all styles. He is proficient at guitar in classic, pop, rock and heavy metal music. He is specialized in heavy metal style, such as thrash metal, speed metal and death metal. He has also performed in several heavy metal festivals at age of 21 .When he was 23 years old, he became passionately interested in music composition and started to compose and arrange his first album “Agony of Death”.Ramtin encourages his young students to discover their creativity and grow to be well-rounded musicians.
