Pacific Beach Music Lessons

Pacific Beach Music Lessons

We offer piano lessons for kids and adults in Southern California. Our focus is on developing children’s musical skills, but we do teach students of all ages.

The teachers hired by Sally Piano Music create lessons that are challenging and fun. Students look forward to their lessons because instructors tailor songs and musical exercises to their interests.

All instructors at Sally Piano Music have prior teaching experience and formal training in their instrument. We hold our teachers to the highest educational and ethical standards, and interview all applicants in person before hiring them.

Students have a choice of taking lessons at home or traveling to the teacher’s home studio. Some teachers offer lessons via Skype or webcam to accommodate students who live in rural or out-of-the-way areas or have busy schedules.

We’re called Sally Piano Music, but the piano is only one of the instruments you can master with the help of our instructors. Interested in voice, violin or guitar? We have qualified teachers with experience in jazz, classical, pop, rock and other musical genres. Whether a student wants to play violin in an orchestra or electric guitar in a hard rock band, one of our teachers has the know-how to help you make your dreams come true.

Michelle R

Michelle began playing the guitar at 8 years old and has now been playing for 13 years. From elementary school to college at UCSD, she has enjoyed shouldering her guitar to campus to play for her friends and teachers: during lunchtime, in front of the class, and at talent shows. She has guided several of her friends into learning how to play guitar when they asked her to teach them.

While she was in high school, she played at the Third St. Promenade, Santa Monica during the cold winters, hoping to share her love for music to the multitude of strangers passing by. She has performed at The Loft at UCSD three times in the past two years and plans on performing at more shows.
Michelle specializes in finger-style guitar. She is familiar with most genres ie classical, rock, pop. Teaching is her most cherished passion. Her lessons are designed to inspire students and encourage them to love and appreciate the guitar as much as she does.
